Why Colombia produces exceptional coffee

At more than 1,500 metres above sea level, on the slopes of the Colombian Andes, coffee with an extraordinary aromatic profile grows. The combination of altitude, moderate temperatures, abundant rainfall and rich volcanic soils creates unique conditions for arabica cultivation.

Colombian coffee regions

The main regions are Huila, Nariño, Cauca, Antioquia and the Coffee Belt. Each contributes distinct nuances: Huila is known for bright acidity and red fruit notes; Nariño for complexity and florals; the Coffee Belt for balance and consistency.
